£45 for 10 minutes!!
04.29.04 (12:47 pm)   [edit]
That's how much I paid for my dental check-up this morning. What? What did you think I meant by that? All the dentist did was check my teeth and then clean and polish them, not that I'm complaining. I'd rather that than need any treatment but £45 just seems a lot of money for something so quick. That sounded bad too, didn't it?

Anyway, after Janet and I finished at the dentist we went and did some shopping. Before that though we stopped off at Starbucks and had a coffee and something to eat. I had a Caramel Macchiato and a rocky road slice which was very yummy and probably no good for my teeth but who cares. I don't have to go back and see him for another 6 months and I can brush my teeth like mad between now and then, right? Right! :D

I bought the latest issue of Cosmo - a magazine which gives me some great ideas for M&M fanfics. Unfortunately, I didn't get any good ideas from this one. I didn't really buy much else apart from stocking up on some toiletries.

I'm glad to see most of the ezboards are back up and running but we seem to be having some trouble finding the RCWW board. I'm seriously hoping it's still available and that once ezboard have sorted out the technical problems they're still apparently having, that we'll be back online and sorted. *fingers crossed*

Oh, I read online somewhere that it looks like Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson are dating in real-life. Aww!! They make such a cute couple. :D Don't know if it's true or not but it makes for a good story.

Okay, I'm off to watch this week's Friends episode. I can't believe we're so close to the end now. *sob*

Woo-hooo!!!
04.27.04 (1:09 pm)   [edit]
I've just been over to Majandra's board at MB and got a wicked surprise.

Firstly, Lisa gave us a sneaky peek of Majandra's new website which you can see HERE .
It looks really good and I can't wait for it to be officially opened and everything to be up and running.

Secondly, Lisa posted Majandra's answers to our (the fans) questions and you can read those HERE .

There were so many questions this time that there are two pages of them, not that I'm complaining. :D It's great to see a celebrity who takes some time out for their fans.

I hate headaches!
04.27.04 (11:23 am)   [edit]

I woke up with a really bad headache this morning which soon turned into an even worse migraine. Luckily being at home means I could stay in bed and sleep it off which I've done and I feel tons better now. I don't know why but medication doesn't really help me. It only seems to make me feel even more nauseous. If anyone has any alternative ideas for getting rid of headaches/migraines, please let me know.

The weather is definitely reflecting my mood today as we're in the middle of a bad thunderstorm right now. The sky is all dark and grey but there's no rain yet, just thunder and lightning. Spooky! Ooh, just had another flash while I'm typing this and the thunder started straight away so it's pretty close. *eek*

I posted the next part to "First Time..." today as people kept bumping it and Moni PM'ed me suggesting I posted the part now and then worried about the next chapter later. Maybe it's better to do that and who knows, maybe it'll motivate me into writing more for chapter 8.

I've jotted down a few ideas for my Seth/Summer fic and I'm looking forward to writing that. It'll probably be a one-parter just to start me off and get used to writing for different characters. Sometimes S&S's bantering reminds me a little of Michael and Maria so hopefully I won't find it too difficult to switch back and forth.

I've actually been a bit of a naughty girl (as Johnny Vaughan would say  ) and checked out screencaps for the next couple of The O.C. episodes. I can't wait to see them. :)

I've got new eps of Tru Calling and Angel tonight which I'm looking forward to. Last week's eps of Tru and Angel were both so sad. I think tonight's Angel will be too as the gang deals with the aftermath of what happened to Fred.

Anyway, I'm going to go now and hide from the storm.

I didn't know that!!
04.26.04 (1:02 pm)   [edit]
I'm listening to Schoolie's show on Capital Radio right now and he's interviewing Jada Pinkett Smith, and he's just played a song off her album. I didn't know she sang. She's apparently supporting Britney Spears tonight and tomorrow night at Wembley Arena. Jada's music is quite good; it's sort of dancey R&B which isn't really my thing but it's okay. She's actually got a pretty good voice.

What she's doing sort of reminds me of Majandra in that she's selling her music online so she can do things her way rather than be dictated to by a record company. You kinda have to admire that. :D

Onto other things, I discovered this really cool message board dedicated to The O.C called The O.C Worldwide, the link to which you can find on the left of the page. It's fairly new so there's not much over there right now but hopefully that'll change soon.

I'm seriously thinking about writing a Seth/Summer fic so that's something to work on when I have some spare time. I just need to concentrate on the current Roswell fics.

Speaking of The O.C., last night's episode was really cute with the Seth and Summer stuff and how she got all jealous about Anna being back in Newport. I have to say though that I could have seriously knocked Ryan and Marissa's heads together. Just kiss already, you know. At least they did at the end of the episode and got it out of the way. I couldn't stop laughing though at Ryan being all freaked out on the ferris wheel. It kinda reminded me of me. Yeah, that's right. I'm terrified of heights.

I'm so behind on my e-mails and I need to get myself sorted out. I replied to two today but I've still got a few to go. I'm so unmotivated right now. That's a word, right?

Happy St. George's Day!!!
04.23.04 (9:27 am)   [edit]
Yep, today is St. George's Day in England so to anyone English reading this, have a good one. :D

The weird thing is we hardly celebrate it in England which is such a shame. When it's St. Patrick's Day we have a big parade in London and they close streets and even let the pubs stay open later, but when it's St. George's Day they call you a racist if you so much as wave a red and white flag. It's just political correctness gone mad and I really hate it. I heard on the radio earlier that a kid was sent home from school because he had the George's Cross shaved into his head. Also, a while ago a pub landlord applied to have his license extended so he could stay open later to celebrate it and he was told no. That St. George's Day isn't seen as a celebratory day. WTF!!

Onto a less contentious topic, I am official a Seth and Summer shipper and I've totally got into the fanfic for them. Some of the stories I've read over the past few days have been amazing. In the UK, we haven't yet got to the good stuff between S&S, although we have seen them have their first kiss which was sweet. I have to say that while I like Ryan, I absolutely hate Marissa. She's just so damn annoying.

This is just a note for me in case I forget. I've got a check-up at the dentist next Thursday at 8 am. I really hate dentists and I wish I didn't have to go but I'd rather have a check-up than leave it for ages and then get problems meaning I need serious treatment. Anyway, Janet's taking the day off work as she needs to go too so we're going to go shopping afterwards. Hopefully, we can pop into a coffee shop and have some breakfast first. If I'm sneaky, I can hopefully get her to pay for it. If only The Butterfly Effect was at the local cinema too. I could have conned her into paying for that too. Dammit!!

I'm gonna get to see The L-Word!!
04.20.04 (8:52 am)   [edit]
Last week I sent an e-mail to LivingTV, the channel that is rumoured to be screening The L-Word when it airs in the UK, asking them to confirm if they have got the rights to show it and also if they have, when it's likely to be shown. I just received a response from them confirming they will be showing it but it won't be until the autumn. I was hoping it would be sooner but at least I will get to see it this year so that's good. :D I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

Don't Want You Back by Eamon is No. 1 in the UK right now and everyone's going on about the amount of swearing in it. I know it should but it doesn't really bother me. I've heard worse and have said worse. I've got such a dirty mouth on me. *lol* Anyway, the other day I heard the counter-attack song, F U Right Back, by Frankee who's supposed to be his ex-girlfriend. It's so funny and there's a particular bit in it that has me cracking up every time I hear it. This is the one:

[b]You thought you could really make me moan
I had better sex all alone
I had to do your friend
Now you want me to come back
You must be smokin' crack
I'm goin' else where and thats a fact [/b]

Priceless!!

Once again I'm feeling really guilty because I haven't been writing. I'm not really stuck, just not that motivated right now. Unfortunately, it's a bad time for that to happen 'cos several people are bumping "First Time..." and while I've got the next part ready, I don't want to post it until I've got the part after that almost written. Hope that made sense. I'm definitely going to try and get it written by the end of the week. I promise! No, I really do! Honest.

Funny!!
04.15.04 (12:22 pm)   [edit]
My best friend just sent me this joke in an e-mail and I thought I'd share.

[i][b]The Wedding Test[/b]

My girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year when we decided to get married. My parents helped us in every way, and my friends encouraged me. My girlfriend? She was a dream! There was only one thing bothering me. That one thing was her younger sister.

My prospective sister-in-law was twenty years of age, wore tight mini-skirts, and low cut blouses. She would regularly bend down when near me, and I got many a pleasant view of her underwear. It had to be deliberate. She never did it when she was near anyone else.

One day little sister calls and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived.

She whispered to me that soon I was to be married, and she had feelings and desires for me that she could not overcome and did not really want to overcome. She told me that she wanted to make love to me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.

I was in total shock and could not say a word. She said, "I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want to go ahead with it just come up and get me." I was stunned. I was frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. When she reached the top, she pulled down her panties and threw them down the stairs at me.
I stood there for a moment, then turned and went straight to the front door. I opened the door and stepped out of the house and walked straight toward my car.

My future father-in-law was standing outside. With tears in his eyes he hugged me and said, "We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We could not ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family!"

The moral of this story is:
Always keep your condoms in your car. [/i]

I think that's wicked!!

Sherry posted a new theme over at RCWW for the 100 Word Challenge. The theme is 'Things I'd Never Say' and here's my offering. It's a bit different and I don't know if it totally counts but hey-ho as CT would say. *lol*

[i][b]Michael's Surprises [/b]

There are some things I never thought I’d hear Michael say, maybe Spaceboy does it just to see my stunned expression. Him saying ‘I love you’ is one of those things. The first time wasn’t exactly how I’d dreamed it would be and him walking away didn’t exactly back up his declaration. The second time was even more heartfelt and he didn’t go anywhere afterwards. Hell, he’d just decided to stay on this planet for me. My biggest surprise was him telling me I was the only girl for him and he didn’t want anyone else. He’s full of surprises. [/i]

On a sadder note, I had such a shock yesterday. Caron Keating, a TV presenter I used to be a fan of when I was in my early teens, died on Tuesday evening after a seven year battle with breast cancer. She was only 41 years old. I think the shock comes more from the fact that she kept her illness a secret from everyone except close family and friends. I can understand her wanting to do that as she had two quite young children but I think everyone was really shocked when the news was announced.

Go on, ask me anything!!
04.14.04 (8:19 am)   [edit]
I read this over at Sherry's LJ and so thought I'd bring it over here.

[b]I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything. [/b]

So, go on, ask me anything. Okay, I'm starting to feel a little scared now. *lol*

On a different subject, I watched the first episode of Tru Calling last night and loved it. I was already a fan of Eliza Dushku's from her role as Faith and it's great to see her in her own show. I thought she was really good.

After that was Angel and I couldn't stop laughing. It was the episode where he's turned into a puppet and I have to agree with Fred; he looked so cute. And yay for Fred and Wes. Finally!! :D And OMG!! The fight scene between Puppet Angel and Spike. ROTFLMAO!!!

I'm green!!
04.14.04 (8:05 am)   [edit]
I took a cute little quiz over at Cindy's blog and so I'm posting my results here.

Aaargh!! I'm so angry!
04.12.04 (1:42 pm)   [edit]
I checked my e-mail earlier on and received a message from Corrie saying she'd been over to FanFiction.net, had seen my "First Time..." fic over there but the poster's name was "candyheartsmm" and she was wondering if that was my username over there.

I went over to check it out thinking maybe it was a different fic with the same title but no. It's my fic copied exactly word for word. I e-mailed the person straight away asking them to delete it from the site and I've also reported them to FF.net. Somehow, I doubt I'll be hearing from this person.

This fic is one that I've struggled with so why should this person just come along and steal it, claiming it as their own work and get the fb for it. It just makes me so angry and the other thing is that if Corrie hadn't of let me know, I wouldn't have know anything about it as I don't often go over to FF.net.

I've posted this fic myself at several sites and it seems to be very popular with people so in a way it was a bad choice of fic for this person to steal. I'm sure if Corrie hadn't contacted me, someone else possibly would have to query whether the poster was me or not.

Ugh! Plagiarism just makes me sick.

I told you I was a sap!!
04.12.04 (9:37 am)   [edit]
So, I went to see 50 First Dates today which is a comedy starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore and I actually cried at the end. Yes, I cried at a comedy.

I actually loved this movie and it was lovely seeing Adam and Drew reunited in this as I loved them in The Wedding Singer which is one of my favourite films. I actually went to see that 5 times when it was in the cinema and then bought it as soon as it came out on video.

It's a really cute movie where Drew's character Lucy has no short-term memory thanks to a car accident she had a year ago and so when she meets Adam's character Henry she keeps forgetting him and he has to make her fall in love with him every day.

I didn't realise before I went to see it that Sean Astin stars in it too and he's freaking hilarious. He plays Lucy's brother who is obsessed with body-building and I have to say he's looking pretty damn good.

I'm one of those people that has to see the trailers and we got some good ones today: The Butterfly Effect which I really want to see, Laws of Attraction which stars Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore which looks quite funny, and Spiderman 2 which looks pretty good. I'm sure there was another one but I can't remember it now. My memory sucks!

I watched the Take That documentary last night and couldn't believe some of the stuff they said. I think the thing that shocked me most was the claim that people suspected Gary Barlow of having a gay relationship with the band's manager, Nigel Martin-Smith. I'm sorry, but I don't believe that for a second. I have no problem with him being gay, straight, bisexual but I think they are way off with that one.

The documentary seemed to be very anti-Gary and very pro-Robbie although they did have people claiming Rob is 100% gay. WTF!! I know Robbie's made some comments in the past about his sexuality but he's been involved in some very long-term straight relationships and I can't believe he's been faking all this time. And if he has, then so what? What business is it of anyone's who he's involved with?

The only band members they spoke to were Mark Owen and Howard Donald and they were pretty honest about the things that went on during the height of the band's success. Even though some of the members aren't close anymore, Mark and Howard didn't didn't really slag anyone off which I thought was nice. I think it would have made me think really differently about them if they'd slated the others.

At the end of the doc, they showed pics of what the band members look like now and they showed Gary and let's just say he doesn't look anything like the pics I posted yesterday. Maybe he just feels comfortable being a husband and father now and doesn't feel the need to look like he did back then.

Oh well, I have my memories and all the vids I bought of theirs. *lol*

Ugh! I feel sick!!
04.11.04 (8:14 am)   [edit]
I think I've officially had too much sugar and I'm feeling really yucky, although it's probably got more to do with me feeling guilty about eating. I swear I'm definitely starting my diet tomorrow.

At least I can chill out tonight as it's my favourite TV night at the moment. I've got The O.C. at 7.25 pm followed by Alias at 9 pm and then at 10 pm there's a documentary on C4 called "The Truth About Take That".

I was a massive fan of the band when I was about 17. I was lucky enough to see them in concert four times and I was gutted when they split up. For those that don't know, Take That was the band that made Robbie Williams famous. My favourite member was Gary Barlow and the weird thing is he was the one tipped for big things when the band split but after a few Top 10 hits he disappeared. He's now a songwriter/producer working with artists such as Delta Goodrem. These pics are from around 1996/7 back when he was a successful solo artist and was looking especially yummy. The video for his first solo single, Forever Love, was gorgeous.

[image]candyspark_1358195 570.jpg[/image]

While I'm typing this, I've just heard Jessica Simpson's new song on the radio. I'm sorry to anyone who likes her, but I find her incredibly annoying and why is it that every time I put MTV on they're showing yet another episode of Newlyweds? Aaargh!! At times I feel pretty sorry for her husband although he can be just as big a pain in the ass as she is.

I forgot to mention...
04.10.04 (11:10 am)   [edit]
I received my newsletter yesterday from RoswellMovie.net which had a small snippet about Nick Wechsler. Apparently, he's just finished filming an episode of Tru Calling although no information about his role is currently available.

If it's true, I think it's great news as it appears that Nick has had a bit of difficulty finding work after Roswell ended which is such a shame as he's a really underrated actor IMO. I thought the character of Kyle in S2 and S3 was great but he was so under-used as, of course, were Michael and Maria. Don't get me started on that!!

Just for the record, I don't actually think a Roswell movie should be made unless the whole of the original cast are willing to do it and if they can get the Season 1 writers on board. Even then, if it's just going to be a continuation of the Max and Liz story I don't want to know. We had three seasons of that thanks very much.

To be honest, I couldn't see Brendan or Majandra wanting to be a part of it, although (if I remember correctly) Mo did say in one of her recent Q&A's that she would be willing to be a part of a new season of the show so you never know.

*Phew* We now return to our regular scheduled programming.

Sweet dreams tonight!!
04.09.04 (1:41 pm)   [edit]
Oh, I definitely think I'll be having sweet dreams tonight. I just found this gorgeous piccie of Ashton and OMG! How yummy is he!!

[image]candyspark_4564224 8.jpg[/image]

I really want some pics of those in between scenes from Punk'd when he's talking to the camera but I can't find any which sucks! He looks so damn hot in those. Demi is one lucky woman!

I found a bigger pic of Brendan at one of the recent events he attended so I'm posting that here too.

[image]candyspark_6841890 3.jpg[/image]

An Ashton and Brendan sandwich anyone? I can't believe I just wrote that but those who know me will.

Happy Easter!!!
04.09.04 (7:37 am)   [edit]
Today's been a nice lazy, relaxing day for me which is sooo lovely. :D

The last couple of days have been manic what with the plumbers being here working on the bathroom. They've installed the new loo, bath and the new shower tray and they just have the actual shower, bidet and sink to install now. We're hoping they'll finish it all on Tuesday when they come back after the holiday weekend but we're not sure. I so can't wait until it's all done.

It was RCWW's one year anniversary the other day. I can't believe how quickly that time has flown. It's pretty frightening. Anyway, I'm so glad Sarah and Val had the idea to start the group because as well as getting to know everyone really well, I think my writing has come on a long way thanks to all the helpful comments and suggestions I get from the girls over there.

Speaking of RCWW, they've started a games thread and one of the games is a 100 word challenge where we're given a theme and we have to write a piece using 100 words. Here's what I came up with late last night:

[b]A Sweet ‘n’ Spicy Addiction [/b]

[i]Michael lay naked in bed resting against his pillows, a sheet pooled around his waist. Licking his lips, he smiled at the familiar taste present. He didn’t think he’d ever get enough of it. It was sweet like candy but had a touch of spice too. He’d always said he liked sweet and spicy but it was even more true after he’d kissed her that first time. Her taste was unique as was her scent and her touch and he’d be able to pick her out in the dark. She was his addiction, his constant craving. She was his Maria. [/i]

Actually, I might incorporate this as a scene in one of my fics.

Oh, I was over at Majandra's forum at MB this morning and Lisa posted an update regarding Majandra's new website and she also mentioned that The Sicks is being remanufactured which is good news for those who weren't able to buy it originally. Hopefully, the website will let us know if the re-released version will have new material or whether that will be saved for a brand new album. I can't wait to find out. You can read Lisa's post =http://www.mediablvd.com/foru..."HERE .

Happy Easter everyone!! Hope you all have a lovely holiday weekend.

Finished...at last!!
04.06.04 (11:26 am)   [edit]
Can I just state for the record, if it's not already clear, that I hate cleaning!! I've just finished my sister's room and I'm totally knackered. At least it's done although once the plumbers are finished after Easter we'll have to do it all again. I ain't thinking about that now.

Oh, I got a postcard from Teresa this morning who's on holiday in Sri Lanka at the moment. It was a really cute card with a picture of two small-clawed otters on it. Aww! :) She said it's really hot over there but she's gotten used to it which is good. I don't think I'd last five minutes in that heat.

My mum went out today and bought my sister's Easter Egg from Marks and Spencer's as well as some of their Hot Cross Buns. It's a white chocolate egg (yuck! I hate white chocolate) with milk chocolate bunnies all the way around it. It looks pretty cute. She's getting me a Cadbury's chocolate egg on Saturday when she goes shopping. I love Cadbury's and it's a hard choice as to which one I should have; Twirl, Whole Nut, Flake, Dairy Milk... The list goes on. I'll probably go for Twirl which is one of my all-time favourites!! :D

I've started writing the next episode tag to Crash. I've jotted down a few ideas so hopefully that'll come together soon. I've also had a new idea for a fic set in the summer between Departure and Behind The Music. That's in the very early stages so I have no idea when I'll be writing that.

Right, off to watch EastEnders.

I'm such a cry-baby!!
04.06.04 (12:02 am)   [edit]
I was watching Without A Trace last night and I found myself crying at the end of the episode. It was about this father who's son was kidnapped on a camping trip when he was just two years old and he never gave up on looking for him. It was the parents reunion with their son at the end that had me crying. I don't usually cry while watching TV shows, it's normally those schmaltzy TV movies that get me.

Yesterday was crazy for me as I was doing my cleaning which took me from about 10 in the morning until 7 pm. I've just got to do my sister's room for her today and then I'm done. Yay!! Tomorrow's going to be a nightmare as the plumbers are coming to start work on installing the new bathroom. I'll be so glad when that's over and we have our new bathroom.

The good news is that I've finished the next chapter of "First Time..." so I should be posting that in the next couple of days. I just want to get something down for chapter 8 first so that I don't completely lose my thread.

I've got a couple more fics started which I can hopefully spend some time on this week if things aren't too hectic.

Okay, I'd better get up and get started on my cleaning. Ugh!! :(

It's raining, it's pouring!
04.04.04 (9:53 am)   [edit]
It is absolutely pissing down to use an English expression. It was lovely and sunny this morning and now it's raining really hard. These are the sorts of days you just want to curl up indoors and either read a good book or watch a good movie. I've got Friends, The O.C. and Alias to enjoy so I'm happy to be inside today.

I actually watched the EastEnders omnibus today for the first time in ages and I've fallen in love with Dennis. He's such a cutie and when he cried after he had accidentally hit his girlfriend, my heart melted. The actor who plays him was on Parkinson (a chat show) last night and he's lovely. Here are a couple of pics:

[image]candyspark_3420560 17.jpg[/image]

[image]candyspark_3468834 29.jpg[/image]

I've got a feeling I'm going to get hooked on the show again. :D

Anyway, while I was watching it today I was writing at the same time and I've almost finished chapter 7 of "First Time..." which I'm so happy about. I'm not going to post that though until I've got something down for chapter 8. I don't want to fall into the trap of not knowing how to start the next chapter and then falling behind again.

Lazy weekend for a change!
04.03.04 (10:35 pm)   [edit]
I haven't really done much over the weekend which is nice considering things have been a bit crazy for me lately.

I'm trying to concentrate on writing as much as I can for "First Time..." so that I don't feel so guilty about it. I finally posted Chapter 6 the other day and I've gotten some really good feedback. :D I have to say a big thank you to Vera who gave me a really good suggestion for this chapter which I've used. So if people are frustrated with where this chapter ends, they can thank her. I'm only kidding!! I often use cliffhangers in my fics but I hadn't thought of ending this chapter on that note but it has really worked judging by some of the comments I've received.

Two of my fics have been nominated at The Eraser Room for Best CC Fic of the Month for April. Voting starts on 15 April so we'll have to wait and see who I'm up against.

Stalker sent me copies of her Paris concert and signing pics which I received on Friday so I just want to say thanks to her. *hugs* They came out really well and there's this one pic of Majandra that is very beautiful. I now just need to go out and buy a new photo album to put them in.

I saw Busted's new video the other night. I was actually surprised to see that they're releasing 'Air Hostess' as the next single. I love it though and it's the song they used to open their concerts. The video is excellent and they look gorgeous as always. Here's a backstage still from the vid:

It looks like McFly, who were one of Busted's opening acts and who are referred to as 'Baby Busted' , are going to be No. 1 today with 'Five Colours in her Hair'. It's such a catchy song and it'd be great to see them do really well.

Laurence brought over a link to a teaser of the "Le Prince Bleu" video and an interview with Mo which was great. She mentioned that she doesn't know if she'll be able to keep the promise of releasing her new CD this summer. Hopefully though she'll be able to release it sometime this year. I really want it!! *whines pathetically*

This week's going to be really busy for me as I've got lots of spring cleaning to do and we're also having a new bathroom installed. Luckily we've got two bathrooms so hopefully we won't be too inconvenienced. *fingers crossed*

Happy Day ~ well sort of!!
04.01.04 (9:37 am)   [edit]
I got a nice surprise this morning when the postie came. Vera had sent me the next few episodes of Joan of Arcadia along with the first few episodes of Bill Sadler's new show, Wonderfalls. I've heard good things about this show from various people I know so I'm really looking forward to watching the VCDs over the weekend. Thanks Vera, I really appreciate it. *hugs*

This sort of makes up for what I read on Vera's blog this morning. I almost fainted when she said that she'd read somewhere that Jennifer had proposed to Brendan and he'd accepted. I'm seriously hoping it's an April Fools Day joke but I'm still waiting for her to confirm it. I tell ya, I've got everything crossed.

Tomorrow's going to be a bit of a sad day because it's Chris Tarrant's last day as The Breakfast Show host on Capital FM. He's been there for 17 years and I've grown up listening to him. In my opinion, he's one of the best DJ's ever and I'm really going to miss waking up to his voice on the radio. At least I still get to see him on TV as he presents our version of 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'. It won't be the same though. *pouts*
